our interest in blueberries began when we learned about their many health benefits.  Blueberries are one of the highest antioxidant fruits.  GROWING organic blueberries will give you the maximum amount of antioxidants.  They also have benefits to your eye health, anti-cancer, improve blood sugar, and cognitive benefits. They also taste great!    Everyone should be able to grow their own blueberry plants and reap the health benefits from them.                

This bowl of plants was started during the winter indoors. In fact all of the plants shown on this page were started from seeds indoors and then transplanted to a bed of peat moss outdoors in the spring. Blueberry seeds can be started anytime of the year.
